Lowey reintroduces sunscreen monograph bill

Executive Summary
Rep. Nita Lowey, D-N.Y., reintroduces the Skin Cancer Prevention, Education, and Consumer Right-To-Know Act April 23. The bill, H.R. 2088, would give FDA 180 days to finalize its long-awaited monograph for broad-spectrum sunscreen ingredients that protect consumers from both UVA and UVB rays.
