Vemedia Acquires GSK Brands In Italy, Strikes Deal For GI Product In Spain
GSK has offloaded a further two brands, this time in Italy, giving Netherlands-based Vemedia the opportunity to bolster its portfolio in the country. Vemedia has also added to its offering in Spain by striking a separate deal with Puerto Galiano.

GSK is plotting further divestments into next year as it looks to focus its portfolio on key categories and raise funds to cover the costs of integrating Pfizer's Consumer Healthcare business. In the third quarter, GSK's sales advanced double-digits thanks to the inclusion of Pfizer megabrands like Advil and Centrum.
Switzerland's Laboratoires Diepharmex has been snapped up by Cooper-Vemedia, the pan-European consumer healthcare group backed by private-equity firm Charterhouse Capital Partners.
