Stada Grabs GSK Brands In Key EU Markets
Stada says it has become a "major consumer healthcare player" after signing a deal to acquire from GSK 15 brands, which generate annual sales in excess of €100m.

Germany’s consumer healthcare players are on trend with recent launches, which include a chewable version of Stada’s Cetebe vitamin C brand, a slow-release addition to Hermes’ Bioelectra Magnesium range, a melatonin-plus-tryptophan supplement from Dr Loges and an immunity spray from Dr Theiss.
Sanofi is pressing ahead with plans to divest up to 150 consumer health brands by selling a portfolio of 16 products marketed in key European countries to Germany's Stada.
Stada has entered the US dietary supplements category following significant gains for its Branded Products business in 2020. Acquisitions helped to drive up Branded Products sales by 27% last year, enabling Stada to become a top-five player in Europe's consumer health market.
