Amyris To Fuel Consumer Brands Momentum With Clean Hair-Care Launch
The California-based sustainable ingredients and clean beauty firm has teamed with hairdresser and television personality Jonathan Van Ness for a clean hair-care line, after net sales in its consumer brands business more than tripled in the fiscal 2020 third quarter, announced in November 2020.

Brands under development and recent acquisitions including EcoFabulous, Costa Brazil and Terasana will account for around 20% of overall 2021 revenue in Amyris’ Consumer business, according to the firm, which aspires to be the “L’Oreal of clean beauty.”
