Seven-product botanical line is formulated to encourage sleep and ward off insomnia, the Estee Lauder company said. The line-up contains natural ingredients such as valerian, cinnamon, lavender, neroli and vanilla that are said to help induce sleep in bath, body and home products such as Sleep Time On-The-Spot massage gel, Call It A Night body lotion and Float Away milk bath. A double-blind study showed participants who bathed with Float Away, formulated with Roman chamomile and tangerine leaf, experienced 35% sounder sleep and nighttime awakenings were reduced by 55%, Origins claims. Available in October, Origins' Sensory Therapy line is priced from $12.50 for a box of 20 nighttime digestive tea bags to $22.50 for Call It A Night Sleep-Deepening Body Lotion

Coty's Cold Comfortheraphy "holistic" H&BA line eases winter sneezes.

COTY COLD COMFORTHERAPHY EASES WINTER BLUES with "penetrating" eucalyptus, menthol, wintergreen and other essential oils, the company said. The Healing Garden Cold Comfortheraphy collection combines six scented products to attack "chapped lips and cold chills," while providing relief from a "stuffed-up head" or a "stuffy disposition," Coty claims. The "holistic" line combines "soothing aromatherapy products" to make "nasty sick days as comfortable as possible." Cold Comfortheraphy will appear in mass market doors with Coty's The Healing Garden collection in September.
