This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara, a reformulation of Remarkable Mascara, bows in April. The mascara continues the overhaul of Cover Girl's mascara stable that began with updates of Natural LashDarkener, Professional Advanced Mascara and Super Thick Lash Mascara (1"The Rose Sheet" Oct. 5, 1998, p. 3). Like earlier reformulations, Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara uses Cover Girl's "Clean Look" technology - formulated with a triple polymer system, film-strengtheners and hard waxes - to create a product that is long-wearing yet easily removed with soap and water. Available in Black, Soft Black and Black-Brown, the waterproof formula will sell for $4.95
