Live Zone retail kiosks are part of test market in Baltimore, Md. (White Marsh Mall) and Orange County, Calif. (The Shops at Mission Viejo), the Procter & Gamble company says. The zones feature an IBM-supplied interactive kiosk from which a picture can be sent to a cosmetics consultant who delivers real-time advice; a similar application was tested in five Houston markets earlier this year (1"The Rose Sheet" May 15, p. 6). The Live Zone also features the 3 ft. Cover Girl "Shade Central" display unit, a product testing bar and an option to e-mail a friend.
