Executive Summary

Manifesto women's fragrance debuting in U.S. retail doors in February, according to licensee Lancaster. Created by Firmenich, the "green, fresh, feminine" scent opens with basil, blackcurrant leaves, mandarin, bergamot and white pepper notes. A heart of sweet pea, jasmine, orange blossom, white rose, peony and lily dries down to chestnut tree, sandalwood and white musk accords. The actress/model's first fragrance was developed as a complement to Rossellini's cosmetics line, which debuted in May 1999. Lancaster is building Isabella Rossellini's Manifesto brand into a prestige cosmetics, fragrance and skin care stable with sales ranking second only to Davidoff, parent company Coty said.
