Chanel and TriStrata settle alpha hydroxy acid patent infringement lawsuit in Wilmington, Del. federal court, parent company NeoStrata announces Aug. 16. TriStrata, which owns 70 patents protecting its alpha hydroxy acid technology, filed suit in 1996 after discovering Chanel and a number of other companies were allegedly using TriStrata's AHAs without a licensing agreement.
