Executive Summary
Le Rouge lipstick, debuting Aug. 1, will replace bulk of Clarins' existing lipstick inventory to become preeminent lipstick, Clarins says. French skin care firm "is perfectly positioned to take a giant leap into the color category," company states, adding lipstick is key to succeeding in color. Le Rouge will be available in 36 shades, divided into "six mood-inspired harmonies": Emotion, Illusion, Passion Inspiration, Fusion and Sensation, ranging in shades from pinks to neutrals, reds, coppers and browns. Lipsticks will be housed in red metallic package with gold trim, which will be used for all future Clarins color cosmetics. Le Rouge lipsticks will retail for $18.50 each
