Fine fragrances division acquires fragrance and fashion trademarks for the Jean Patou brand, Geneva, Switzerland-based P&G Prestige Beaute division announces Sept. 13. Jean Patou markets approximately 10 fragrances including its best-known, Joy, the firm's most costly fragrance, and the recently launched Hip (1"The Rose Sheet" Aug. 13, p. 5). In addition, P&G will acquire fragrance license for La Chemise Lacoste, also under Patou, to market fragrance and beauty products.
