Executive Summary
Talc and di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate are among 21 nominations on a proposed list of substances for the 12th Report on Carcinogens, which is slated for publication in 2006, the National Toxicology Program announces in a May 19 Federal Register 1notice. The substances may be reviewed in 2004 or 2005, "as either a new listing in or changing the current listing in the twelfth report," agency says. NTP is soliciting public input on the nominations, including "carcinogenesis as well as current production data, use patterns or human exposure information."
