Talc and di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate are among 21 nominations on a proposed list of substances for the 12th Report on Carcinogens, which is slated for publication in 2006, the National Toxicology Program announces in a May 19 Federal Register 1notice. NTP is soliciting public input on the nominations, including "carcinogenesis as well as current production data, use patterns or human exposure information." Comments will be accepted for 60 days from the publication of the notice.
