National Interagency Center for the Evaluation of Alternative Toxicological Methods is requesting comments on background review documents for four proposed in vitro test methods to identify substances that may cause ocular irritation, NICEATM says in a 1Nov. 3 Federal Register notice. Assays will be addressed during Jan. 11-12 NICEATM/Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods expert panel meeting in Bethesda, Md.
