Agency sought substantiation for print ad claims including statements like "The first formula specifically developed to dramatically reduce the appearance of serious dark circles" and "In a matter of days, serious dark circles begin to fade." Bremenn subsequently responded to the inquiry by requesting, "among other information, the standards used by NAD in evaluating claim substantiation and the qualifications of any NAD attorney who would evaluate its evidence," according to the watchdog group.
