CIR’s Expert Panel recommends a limit of 4 ppm for preservative methylisothiazolinone in leave-on cosmetic products and 100 ppm in rinse-off formulas at a June 9-10 meeting in Washington, drawing from QRA data supplied by Cosmetics Europe.
