The National Toxicology Program Board of Scientific Counselors Technical Reports Review Subcommittee will meet Aug. 28 to discuss peer review findings and conclusions presented in five draft NTP technical reports of rodent toxicology and carcinogenicity studies in genetically modified mice, National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences announces in July 10 Federal Register 1notice. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. at NIEHS in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Technical reports slated for review include document on benzene, which is used in the manufacture of dyes, oils, varnishes and lacquers.
