Cosmair launching Acqua di Gio for Men in late August/early September.

GIORGIO ARMANI ACQUA DI GIO FOR MEN SCENT COMBINES SEA, SUN, EARTH NOTES to create the "agreeable contrasts" found in the "fresh, transparent, aromatic woody scent," Cosmair said. The scent, the designer's second entry for men, will be on counter by late August/early September in 1,200 department and specialty store doors. Targeted to a younger, more "resolutely modern" audience than Armani for Men, the Firmenich-supplied fragrance incorporates marine top notes, middle accords of persimmon, rosemary and jasmine and a base that echoes "the deep parts of the earth" with woody amber accords of Moroccan cedar, patchouli and Mediterranean cistus, Cosmair said.
