Executive Summary
The National Association of Chain Drug Stores is establishing a new marketing, communications and media relations department as part of a major restructuring initiative that will "ensure that we are aggressively promoting the value of community pharmacy to the American people," President and CEO Steven C. Anderson announces April 4. Intended to align NACDS communication efforts with the strategies of its chain drug stores, the new department will develop a centralized communications plan to "provide leadership in effective messaging, branding and positioning," as well as a public relations campaign.
