National public service program plans in-salon awareness campaign to increase participation in its programs, according to a July 23 release. Charity joins with the National Cosmetology Association to promote LGFB, which provides free workshops to women and teens undergoing cancer treatments to help them deal with the treatment-related changes in their appearance, hair and nails. Awareness campaign will target more than 25,000 NCA members, offering them educational materials such as posters and point-of-purchase information to display in their salons in October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. "The dedicated professionals in NCA touch thousands of clients each day in their salons, and they can make a tremendous difference in the lives of others by informing the public about Look Good...Feel Better," says Louanne Roark, executive director of the Personal Care Products Council Foundation and LGFB. Campaign marks 20 anniversary of the program, which is sponsored by the Personal Care Products Council and American Cancer Society
