J&J reorganizes QC functions: New company-wide framework will help "facilitate more effective coordination of Johnson & Johnson's quality, compliance and supply chain organizations," according to Corporate Communication VP Jeffrey Leebaw. The spokesman said in an e-mail that CEO William Weldon announced the plan internally the week of Aug. 15 and appointed Corporate VP Ajit Shetty to oversee the new framework. Chief quality officers also will be named for J&J's consumer, pharmaceutical and medical device businesses, Leebaw added.
