Executive Summary
Myriad Genetics (pharmaceutical and diagnostic products) will combine its proteomics expertise with Hitachi's information and electronics technologies and Oracle's software to analyze all proteins in humans. The companies will place the collected information in a database they believe will enable researchers to view all protein interactions, biochemical pathways, and a catalog of purified proteins by 2004.
