Executive Summary
Latest review finds 11 of 13 creatine products meet the online testing group's standards for content and purity. ConsumerLab points out "purity is particularly important for creatine supplements because doses are relatively large." Products passing the tests are marketed by Natrol, Source Naturals, Prolab, Muscletech, Weider, SportPharma, MetRx, Universal Nutrition, Nature's Best, TwinLab and EAS. AHPA and CRN recently criticized the testing site's methods in response to a review that found only nine of 22 ginseng products met CL's standards (1"The Tan Sheet" July 17, p. 15)
