Sampling of Chocolate Supreme and Tropical Fruit Splash multivitamin chews will take place Jan. 28 and 29 in 10 cities, according to McNeil Nutritionals. A direct mail program, ads in gyms and magazines, an FSI drop and web marketing also are planned for the full roll-out of Viactiv multivitamin chews to grocery, health, supermarket, club and mass merchandise stores. The products come in a 10-count to-go pack, retailing for $2.49; a 60-count canister that carries an SRP of $7.99-$8.99; and a 120-count club size, which costs $11.99-$12.99. Labeling states, "Just one chew a day provides essential vitamins and anti-oxidants to help maintain strong bones, activate energy and protect the health of your eyes, skin, heart and immune system."
