Nivea: Beiersdorf brand is introducing five new products designed to firm, tan and renew skin, with an additional item joining the lineup in April, firm says. Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream and Good-bye Cellulite Patches ($12.99 each) target "stubborn areas that typically do not respond well to anti-cellulite measures" by adhering to and continuously releasing L-Carnitine into the skin, firm says. Sun-Kissed Firming Moisturizer, available in two shades - Fair to Medium and Medium to Dark - and Visage Sun-Kissed Facial Moisturizer, both $6.99, moisturize and improve skin's firmness while building an even tan over five days. Skin will glow with Q10 Gentle Spa Micro-Dermabrasion Kit ($19.99), a three-step process comprising pre-treatment cleanser, micro-dermabrasion gel exfoliator and post-treatment balm, according to Beiersdorf. Firm taps three new senior marketing execs as part of a global marketing reorganization designed to "take K-C's global marketing capabilities and teams to the next level" through expanded brand-building; and growth and product innovation, firm says April 2. Andrew Bienkowski, former group marketing director for The Coca-Cola Company, will join K-C in the newly created role of VP, global brands, to head the development of brand strategies. Roger Chacko, former senior VP of strategy development for Mars, Inc., will serve as VP, global marketing knowledge and intelligence.
