Diabetes nutrition products: XTend Medical will launch a "complete line of nutritional products aimed at capturing a portion of the billion-dollar medical nutrition sector," according to a May 19 release. The Sun Valley, Calif.-based company, which markets devices and technologies to hospitals, managed care companies and nursing homes, will work with several major manufacturers to introduce products for patients whose diabetes prevents them from achieving proper nutrition levels.
