French Authority Asks For More Data On Turmeric Supplements After Hepatitis Cases Reported

Following reports of side-effects linked to turmeric supplement use in France and Italy, the former's Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) is asking manufacturers selling turmeric supplements in the country to provide additional bioavailability data.
