Somerset Pharmaceuticals: President Dana Barnett to chairman and CEO and Melvin Sharoky, MD, to president. The post of chairman is newly-created. Somerset is the joint venture of Mylan, where Barnett is exec VP, and Circa, recently acquired by Watson Pharmaceuticals, of which Sharoky is president. The joint venture partners share equally in sales of Somerset's product Eldepryl (selegiline) for treatment of late-stage Parkinson's disease.
