CHATTEM's CHARLES JOLLY ANNOUNCES BID FOR CONGRESS to represent Tennessee's third congressional district. Jolly, currently VP, secretary and general counsel for Chattanooga, TN- based Chattem, announced Jan. 9 that he will seek the congressional seat held by Rep. Marilyn Lloyd (D), who will retire at the conclusion of the 103rd Congress. A Democrat, Jolly is a veteran of the OTC drug industry. He has been with Chattem since 1977 and spent the previous seven years at Miles Labs.
