Executive Summary
The Jewish Action Alliance plans to hold a protest rally outside headquarters of L'Oreal's U.S. subsidiary Cosmair on Aug. 15. At the rally, which is also supported by the National Organization of Women, female executives will "demonstrate against the anti-Jewish policies" of L'Oreal and express support for a boycott of the firm initiated by Reps. Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) ("The Rose Sheet" Aug. 8, p. 6). L'Oreal is alleged to have taken actions to secure delisting from the Arab League blacklist of firms doing business in Israel. Jean and David Frydman, who have filed a suit in which they claim to be victims of a L'Oreal conspiracy related to the delisting, placed a full-page ad in the Aug. 11 New York Times countering L'Oreals denied of cooperation with the Arab League boycott
