Perrigo

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Receives FDA warning letter Aug. 19 stating that its Fine or Oily Hair Dandruff Shampoo and Good Sense Dandruff Shampoo do not comply with labeling requirements in the final monograph for OTC dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis products. Specifically, Perrigo's Fine or Oily Dandruff Shampoo does not carry the required "directions for use" statement, and neither dandruff product carries the required warning to keep it out of the reach of children, FDA said. The warning letter arose from a Perrigo request in June to export the dandruff products to Mexico
