Cosmair division's Redken Color Gels, a new hair color system with "the perfect balance" between the "coverage of a creme color" and the "translucence, shine and convenience of a liquid," is available now in 20,000 salons nationwide, the company says. The system, which is designed to provide "superior grey coverage," contains a Select Dye System to provide "long-lasting color results" and "very stable" color molecules that "resist shampoo wash-out," the company states. The color gels are available in 33 shades that are formulated with Natural and Accent family colors to "create a variety of natural-looking brilliant color," Redken adds. The color gels can be used with Redken's Shades EQ and CAT hair care brands
