FTC RELIANCE ON STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL TO ASSIST WITH ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS should be encouraged "in light of budget constraints" at the Federal Trade Commission, Center for Science in the Public Interest Legal Affairs Director Bruce Silverglade recommended in an Oct. 27 letter to FTC. CSPI urged the commission to "develop a national strategic enforcement plan to coordinate its efforts with those of state and local officials."
