Clinique: Deep Cleansing Emergency Mask for oily skin is a once weekly precursor to the firm's "three-step" facial care system, Clinique says. The mask uses salicylic acid to exfoliate and cornstarch and kaolin clays "to draw out excess oil and impurities" in the skin. On-counter in October, a 3.3 oz. tube will carry a suggested retail price of $18.50. The Estee Lauder division also will expand its "three-step" line with Facial Soap Extra-Mild and Mild Clarifying Lotion, both formulated for "dry, delicate skin." Step one, "dense-lathering" facial soap, includes glycerin to "bind moisture to the skin," Clinique explains.
