ALBERTO-CULVER MOVING INTO SKIN CARE WITH ST. IVES PURCHASE announced Oct. 31. The acquisition of St. Ives Swiss Formula brand will provide Alberto with a variety of skin care products that generated around $70 mil in sales in 1994. The Swiss Formula skin care line-up includes facial moisturizers, cleansers and scrubs and hand, body and face lotions. Alberto also is acquiring St. Ives' Swiss Formula hair care line.
