SKU PROLIFERATION CURB WOULD IMPROVE TRADE RELATIONS, Duane Reade Senior VP-Sales and Marketing Gary Charboneau suggested during a "Perspectives from the Trade" session at the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association's Jan. 18 marketing seminar. "New items are both the biggest opportunity and the biggest problem we face as retailers," he declared, adding that limiting SKUs in new and existing lines is "the single biggest thing" manufacturers can do to help retailers.
