EPA regulation of VOCs: EPA volatile organic compounds consumer products proposed rule is expected to be published in the Federal Register in February, EPA said. The agency anticipates that a final rule will be published in June following a comment period. EPA's schedule targets September as the compliance date for consumer products after finalization of the reg. The proposed regulation -- which covers 24 consumer product categories including hairsprays, mousses, styling gels, nail polish removers and aerosol antiperspirants and deodorants -- was originally scheduled to be issued in September 1995 ("The Rose Sheet" April 3, p. 3)...
