Renaissance Cosmetics: Taps Norbert Becker to the newly created position of group VP, effective immediately, the company announced July 11. Reporting to Renaissance CEO Thomas Bonoma, Becker will be responsible for "providing support and direction" to all U.S. and overseas companies under the Renaissance umbrella. He will also play a role in upcoming acquisitions. Renaissance has recently embarked on a purchasing spree, including agreements to buy fragrance manufacturer MEM and the Nat Robbins brand from American Cosmetics.
