Cosmair: L'Oreal Excellence Creme Blonde Supreme and Creme Frost permanent hair colorants both are enriched with conditioners to keep hair "soft, silky and healthy" after dying, the company said. Excellence Creme Blonde Supreme is the company's lightest one-step blonding permanent haircolor in a cream form. Available in three shades, Extra Light Ash Blond, Extra Light Natural Blonde and Extra Beige Blonde, Creme Blonde Supreme has a self-timing formula that Cosmair claims "guarantees that the product will stop working in just 30 minutes." The Creme Frost provides highlights to medium brown to light blonde hair, according to L'Oreal, and can be used on permed hair one week after perming. The cream formulas are easier and cleaner to use than liquid coloring, the company said. The products will be available in fall 1996 in chain drug, food, and mass market stores nationwide.
