Sanofi Beaute: Raymond Ortal, a Sanofi veteran, returns to head worldwide beauty division, replacing Vincent Bastion, who left the company. The shift in leadership reflects Sanofi's changing philosophy toward its beauty business, the company said. Under Ortal's guidance, Sanofi is attempting to decentralize the division, allowing its major brands to share resources while operating more independently with greater autonomy within local markets. Sanofi said it has no plans to divest the division or to dissolve Sanofi Beaute; on the contrary, Sanofi Chair and Chief Executive Jean Francois Dehecq stated that with Ortal on board, Sanofi "can ensure success in our beauty business"...
