Jil: Women's fragrance bowing exclusively in 50 Saks Fifth Avenue doors and three Jil Sander stores in September, U.S. distributor Gary Farn said. The scent will eventually roll-out to the designer's full distribution of 85 department store doors. The "aromatic, woody oriental" opens with top notes of lavender, raspberry and fresh herbs, leading to a heart of cedar woods, vetiver, iris and violet accords. The drydown consists of vanilla. Jil is a "lighter, kickier" scent than Jil Sander No. 4, Garn Farn said. Other offerings by the designer include Woman III, Sun and Bath & Beauty Pure. The Jil line includes a 1.7 eau de toilette spray for $50, a 3.4 oz. edt spray for $75 and a .5 oz. parfum for $125.
