M.D. Forte Aftercare Environmental Protection Cream SPF 30 contains a patented 8% zinc oxide technology that "may reduce the potential for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)...associated with sun exposure" following peel, laser procedures or dermabrasion, the firm said. Suitable for all skin types, the cream is formulated with 0.5% allantoin to soothe and vitamin E. Allergan will distribute 30,000 samples and send product literature to the 2,500 dermatologists carrying the M.D. Forte line. A 2.5 oz. tube sells for $20. Allergan also recently introduced Skin Rejuvenating Lotion I and II and Skin Rejuvenating Eye Cream. Lotion I is suitable for all skin types, while Lotion II is designed for complexions with "damaged or heavily lined areas." The three products contain glycolic acid and vitamins A and E. A 1 oz. bottle of Lotion I is priced at $20, a 4 oz. Lotion II costs $25 and a .5 oz. eye cream is $24.50...
