CTFA to participate in EPA's satellite broadcast on VOC emissions reg Oct. 15.

EPA CLEAN AIR COMPLIANCE BROADCAST TO ASSIST SMALL COMPANIES in understanding and implementing the Environmental ProtectionAgency's volatile organic compounds emissions final rule. While the free educational satellite broadcast, "Clean Air Compliance for Consumer Products," is open to all consumer product manufacturers, EPA noted the program especially will benefit smaller companies that may not have been directly involved with negotiations on the rule. By comparison, many large companies have full-time legislative and legal departments that have followed or been involved with the VOC standard. The regulation takes effect in November.
