Executive Summary

Fragrance sales, which include the Chrome, Angel and A Men scents, rose 27.3% to $98.2 mil. for the period, based on FFr 5.5975 = $1. Net sales increased 21.5% to $365 mil., and net income jumped 66.4% to $19.7 mil. Clarins "results were achieved against a backdrop of fierce competition and highly difficult trading conditions in Asia," the company noted.
