Executive Summary

Out of the Garden line of hemp-formulated personal care products "draws its imagery and scent names from the Grateful Dead experience," the Bennington, Vt.-based firm said. The line was introduced at the Extracts trade show for aromatherapy, home fragrance and personal care products New York City Oct. 2-5. The officially licensed collection was created "in conjunction with the Grateful Dead organization," Naturalights explained. The line includes Body Lotion, Body Wash and Bath & Body Oil in four scents: Space (peaceful and relaxing), Inspiration (invigorating and vibrant), American Beauty (sensual) and Morning Sunshine (uplifting). Wholesale prices range from $5 for a 6 oz. cobalt blue pump-top bottle of Body Wash to $6 for a 2 oz. cobalt blue bottle of Bath & Body Oil. Upscale packaging ensures the products will appeal to "the natural product consumer in general" and not just "Dead Heads," Naturalights asserted
