Executive Summary
National Toxicology Program Board of Scientific Counselors will meet Oct. 30 to re-review draft technical reports of five two-year studies, including the draft report on triethanolamine that had been reviewed in 1994 and showed TEA's "equivocal," or uncertain, carcinogenicity. The re-review was scheduled due to the discovery of Helicobacter hepaticus infection in male mice. The reviewers are expected to find the study "inadequate." The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle Park, N.C
