North Atlantic group blade and razor net sales were up 10% in the third quarter, while profits dropped 3%, Gillette Chairman and CEO Alfred Zeien announced during a media conference call on Oct. 15. A major driver in the sales increase for the region was due, in part, to the launch cycle of the company's Mach3 razor in Europe, Zeien noted.
