The Consumer Product Safety Commission's proposed rule to require child-resistant packaging on household products containing 5% methacrylic acid would affect $4 mil. to $6.5 mil. in nail primer annual retail sales. The wholesale value of the products is $2.9 mil. to $4.6 mil., CPSC estimates.
