Executive Summary

Sales rose 5.9% to $3.6 bil. for the 48 weeks ending Jan. 2, compared to $3.4 bil. for the same period last year, the Columbus, Ohio-based specialty retailer announced Jan. 6. Approximately one-third of the sales came from Bath & Body Works stores, while the remaining two-thirds came from Victoria's Secret stores and catalogs, the firm added. Intimate Brands reported higher "comparable store sales" at the 100 Victoria's Secret stores carrying its new cosmetics line as compared to last year
