The agency is seeking comments regarding the Category I list, which are due by Oct. 5. Final prioritized chemicals placed in Category II, which includes C.I. Acid Red 51 and C.I. Acid Blue 9 and its salts, will not be subject to further consideration at this time. C.I. Acid Red and C.I. Acid Blue are dyes used in cosmetics and food products
