Executive Summary
FDA to sponsor Cosmetic Harmonization and International Cooperation meeting in Washington, D.C. May 8-10. Representatives from the U.S., Canada, Japan and Europe will attend to discuss issues on animal testing, color additives and sunscreen, FDA says. The first two days of the meeting will be closed to the public and the third day will consist of an industry briefing. The first CHIC meeting was held in Brussels in April 1999. The Office of Cosmetics & Colors will post minutes of the meeting on its new international Web page, slated to launch in May
